SR Airglow
3.5" True to the new normal of Mt. Tolland and South Weymouth being the snow capitals of New England. Still stuck under 1" here, but I guess that's what happens when you avoid the dryslot. Ripping now though so let's make up some ground in the next hour or two! sankaty
From the OKX discussion: THE SNOW COULD ACTUALLY LIMIT WIND POTENTIAL EARLY AS COLUMNCOOLING LIMITS MIXING POTENTIAL...BUT WITH STRONG WINDS OF ATLEAST ADVY CRITERIA EXPECTED AFTER THE SNOW ENDS...DECIDED TOSTICK WITH A CONSISTENT MESSAGE AND LEAVE THE HIGH WIND WARNINGSIN PLACE. Heaviest moved right over Tolland CountyYou only got out to a 0.5" lead on me early on, but heaviest returns were definitely up over you. I am ending with 2". lakeeffectkid383
Took a drive to Smithfield, RI. Just poundin snow here for the last hour. Insane snowfall rates right now in that death band. Prob at least 2" an hour with the biggest flakes I've literally ever seen in my life, and I lived in Buffalo,NY for 20 years. Just a crushing here. Webcams from back near my house in Warwick only 20 minutes away show barely a dusting. Prob at least 2-3" here on the roads which means prob 3-4" accumulation so far on elevated surfaces.
