Sophisticated Skeptic
Rare for areas just to the SE to get in on all the action before here. still nothing exciting here. Gotta wait for the Low to transfer.

Voyager
Just as you posted that, I looked out. Moderate snow 34 degrees....still almost no winds though. None here either. Since the FROPA, which was quite benign, I've not measured a wind speed higher than 5 mph...lol

Treckasec
Nice storm. The cell developed a little hail core during the storm. It was only pea sized, but it was fun to watch.
BBasile
Was a lightning and pea sized hail fest for a while there. Wind gusted to 25 mph in the thunderstorm, but has since died down a bit. Temp dropped about 8F.
Hurricane Agnes
Wind gusts have really started picking up. As a note, that rockin' and rollin' last night around 11:30 pm was incredible, including one thunderous boom (like an explosion in the sky) that came from something that looked almost like ball lightning and it vibrated the neighborhood. Voyager
I was just about to post that the winds have not been bad in my backyard as I'm rather sheltered by two close proximity mountains (hills) to my northwest and northeast. That being said, as I was contemplating and beginning to type, the lights dimmed about 4 times, but didn't go out, so I'm quite sure the wind is as advertised. It's just not really getting to my location. I can, when I'm outside though, hear it roaring through the trees on the hills and the plateau of Hometown which is about a mile north of me. It has the sound of a mid to high level jet airplane when it flies over during a snowstorm., except that the roar is constant.
Treckasec
Graupel showers! With it being brighter outside I can see the wind.
Birds~69
Around 4am winds went a little nuts and woke me up. Had to hit 45-50+.....calmed down a bit now but still gusty.

According to MesoWest Brandywine Shoal Light in the Delaware Bay has a peak gust of 72mph. Enough all ready! Wow...amazing. I'm not complaining about this, just posting due to my astonishment, but this is probably the least windy wind event I've ever witnessed in my life. The wind direction is JUST PERFECT to come off the plateau north of me and not mix down fast enough to feel it's effects in my backyard. My peak wind gust since midnight is/was 16 mph. As I sit typing this, all is quiet here. Most recent gust was 10 mph with my average sitting at 4 mph and a current wind speed of 3 mph.
MattMal88
Power came back on around 4am thankfully as I have 3 fish tanks that wouldn't do very well with an extended outage. No damage here luckily but it's still howling out there this AM. Impressive wind storm indeed.
