ChescoWx Posted April 2, 2016 Share Posted April 2, 2016 Here in NW Chesco we finished March as the 5th warmest month since records began in 1894 at 47.6 Top 4 warmest March average temps were as follows 1921 = 51.5 1945 = 51.3 2012 = 49.5 1903 = 48.4 Barring any late season snow events we ended March with 1.1" of snow which is 4.4" below normal For the season we are at 38.7" of snow for the season which is 3.5" above normal for the year We average 1.1" of snow in April here in Chester County for our seasonal average of 36.4" (of note we average a whopping 0.1" more than Chicago at ORD in a normal season-who would have thunk that!)
