CoastalWx
Idk where the snow rates are in BOS people were talking about earlier. Still garbage here. Rimed flakes too. Lots of low level stuff moving in from the ocean. Probably rimed stuff until those temps drop below -8C.

Yeah, it's drizzly here in Wrentham. Car was iced up a bit and roads are slick. Temp 24F.
dendrite
Snowing hard here in CON. SN/+SN and 23F at the airport. A little more tame at home.
SR Airglow
Light snow as we're in another short low, but can already see the heavier snow approaching on radar. 1.5" or so is my out the window guess but hard to tell for sure until I get home and measure. geo1
Are those nice looking radar returns out of Albany going to keep the west to east transition or will they collapse south?

sfenn1117
Snow picked up pretty quickly - not sure it was sleet as much as some rimed flakes that bounced off cars at first. It's 95% snow at this point. Dualpol confirms any rain/sleet should be confined to the southern 4 counties.
snowgeek
Just measured 4.5" here in Voorheesville (about 5 miles NW of Albany) with a temp of 21.5 and moderate snow (lightening up). FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

Yeah your snow growth layer desaturated a bit in that dry slot but it is becoming saturated again. Pingers due to warm layer aloft may try and tickle HFD before collapsing south. Don't think they'll be a big deal though HFD-PVD northward.
dendrite
CON back down to 1/4SM +SN. They may leapfrog me in seasonal snow.

HinghamBoss
I agree - it really is something how snow covered the side streets and sidewalks are in Boston. Nice...you over to Hubbdave missed an extra 2" of snow yesterday by like 10 miles...N ORH/Holden over to New Braintree and Hardwick had about 4". Hopefully you can make that up by racking up a few inches in this band. Wish I was on winter hill right now for that band...but work today in BOS isn't so bad either...never thought I'd say that about BOS in an April event.
