For many years I *did* wait until that date...but since I expunged Churchill, Manitoba from the list last summer...reducing the octet to a septet...it seemed to be a convention I could dispense with...w/o invoking any particular crisis of conscience... I truly *am* Cicero... *Laughs* haha. In all seriousness there have been some pretty cold looks on the models for May on runs here and there. The elevated stuff near Glen Cove in the cool sector looks better than some of the storms back in the warm sector closer to the slightly weaker midlevel lapse rates. I hit 80.0F, but only for about 10 seconds. Quickly dropped back into the low 70s by 3pm, then 60s, and now at 55.2F. Only 0.11" of rain from dying T-storms.
