 As if it's going to snow in June.

For many years I *did* wait until that date...but since I expunged Churchill, Manitoba from the list last summer...reducing the octet to a septet...it seemed to be a convention I could dispense with...w/o invoking any particular crisis of conscience...

I truly *am* Cicero...

*Laughs*

haha. In all seriousness there have been some pretty cold looks on the models for May on runs here and there. Wouldn't rule out the possibility of some flakes out in the furthest reaches of NYC metro.

Another case of the steep midlevel lapse rates winning out again.

The elevated stuff near Glen Cove in the cool sector looks better than some of the storms back

in the warm sector closer to the slightly weaker midlevel lapse rates.

Now if we can just keep this going through the summer.....

Looks like the high at the park was 60 and 57 at LGA...hit 71 here and 80's just to the sw...don't see that kind of difference very often.

I hit 80.0F, but only for about 10 seconds. Quickly dropped back into the low 70s by 3pm, then 60s, and now at 55.2F. Only 0.11" of rain from dying T-storms.

it finishes over or under 1885 with a few more days to go.
