I wonder when the last time was that NYC had a dewpoint in 20's when it was over 80 degrees? This is much more common for the desert SW than the NE. All these dry runs since then have reversed before we could make a top ten driest season. doncat Posted April 19, 2016 Share Posted April 19, 2016 I'm really curious how much precipitation (rain and water equivalent) we received in the winters of 1998-99 and 2001-02.At my station, winter of 98-99 (dec-feb) had 11.29" and 01-02 had only 4.99 (which is my driest for 35 years of record).
