RandyHolt Posted April 9, 2016 Share Posted April 9, 2016 Is anyone aware of a static link to max wind gusts for lwx / MD... similar to Pitt? http://www.weather.gov/pbz/MaxWindGust-loop I use local stations via the bug (34 today), and know the NWS may sometimes release a tweet showing spotters reports, but don't like to wait until after the event to get the data. CAPE Posted April 9, 2016 Share Posted April 9, 2016 Have had off and on rain/snow/graupel showers all afternoon. High was 41, down to 37 now. Same here. Also had some thunder. High was 42. Lowest temp was 34, during the periods of heavier snow/graupel. Fun weather day, and very representative of the battle between winter and spring. Ready for 80 degrees now, thank you. das Posted April 9, 2016 Share Posted April 9, 2016 Interesting ob for Clarksburg: 100% of the precip that has fallen today, from the first batch that rolled thru starting at like 4am right thru to the gusty snow showers that have been rolling thru for the last 3+ hours have been snow. Not a single sleet pellet or rain drop. The closest to non snow was some styrofoam graupel around noon for 10 minutes. Not bad for Aprul 9th.
