Sunday AM looks much windier in CT than today was . Not even close.Trees are going to come down even in Moosup. Sorry about that

 

Show us why it looks much windier.  Give us something from the model world that supports your assertion.  That's all we ask.  Not a tweet from yesterday or a forecast, but you've been a weather weenie long enough to know how to look at the models.  Give us a reason to believe you.

 

The forum is awesome for good discussion...give us some substance.

Ginx, 18z NAM shows gusts at 850mb to 65mph, if the winds can turn more northeasterly and this ends up a bit stronger or further south, we can end up with gusts near there, but I would say just wait to see how far south this vort max gets or closes off.

on the Cape so 850 gives you a 55 mph gust near the ocean, congrats I guess
