cyclone77
To remain consistent with the rest of the winter season today's snow activity stayed just out of reach. Had some very strong winds all day though. Probably pushed 60mph at times.
OHweather
Pretty nice line pushed through here. Briefly started as rain and graupel and went over to moderate to briefly heavy snow, with several flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder. Winds sort of underwhelmed, maybe gusted to 30 at my location.

RCNYILWX
Absolutely fascinating weather day for the region, one of the more interesting ones I can remember. A forecaster at my office modified a Midway aircraft sounding and it showed about 100 j/kg of SBCAPE, which is very impressive for a snow shower/squall setup, and the results speak for themselves. Wonder if some thunder will occur tomorrow evening along the cold front despite low dewpoints with lapse rates likely to be steep again. SPC did include the area in general thunder. King James
Some of the wildest weather I've experienced today. Was at my parents about 15 miles south of MDW. Intense ice pellets/snow/wind that covered the deck in a matter of minutes, followed by sunshine that melted everything in a matter minutes. Rinse and repeat that process all afternoon. Was really fun to watch.

Geos
Peak wind gust today of 46 mph. Today was a very interesting weather day. The time it took to go from sunny to near blinding snow was minutes in most cases. A day to remember.

OHweather
Nice thundersnow event. Picked up a quick 0.4" of snow.We picked up roughly an inch out here, most of it in an hour. Unfortunately the lightning didn't make it this far inland. I wonder if someone stuck under the band on the west side can pick up 2-3" out of this. Geos
Did the other Super Ninos have cold Aprils? I think 82 did? Latest snowfall in 1998 was March 15th, not seeing anything later than that noteworthy. April failed to reach 80°, which isn't too unusual, but a lot of times it does. Looks like you're jumping into hyperspace in your truck above in that pic!
hm8
Drove through some stupid heavy snow along 96 earlier, full on thunderstorm-esque ominous dark skies too. Fun stuff.
