wisconsinwx
Might be some of the heaviest snow we've had this winter, of course not a great situation for accumulation.
wisconsinwx
Both the 12z GFS/NAM show pound town around here from 6-12z Sunday morning. May be worth getting up early for given it will likely be winter's swan song as well.
A-L-E-K
By Sunday this will be one of the more unique stretches of early spring lapse rate snow showers/gusty winds
Hoosier
Pretty good burst of snow/graupel here with a temp of 43 degrees, one of the warmest temps I can remember seeing snow. Shallow warm layer at work.

michsnowfreak
I guess a miss to the south would be a fitting kick in the nuts to end this winter for those of us on the east side of MI.Winter weather advisory for detroit for 2-5". Detroit has gotten twice the snow toledo has this winter. I'd say they are more than due but hopefully it skirts detroit

We are probably much closer to Toledo than DTW's total.

It's actually crazy to look at the north south gradient from TOL - DTW - FNT

weatherbo
Wow, 18 degrees in the middle of the afternoon on April 8. Normal high around 45?? yes, I think 43 or 44 by now. even with the April sun angle, the cold temps are allowing the snow to stick to things it normally wouldn't this time of day. depth 30-34"

weatherbo
Bo has the cold air supply. Most of Ontario, Quebec under deep snow cover. And the kicker, Geos is that I was down to a foot of snow on March 30th. Never did I expect to see 45".
Geos
Like how you took that pic Bo. Makes it look like the house has 5-6' of snow around it. I wasn't expecting to see snow 6 out of the first 8 days of April, but here I am with 2.7" of snow to show for it. Kind of excited to see what the next 48 or so can dish out for accumulations. Cold air is here, might as well get something out of it. Let it torch later next week.

I a have stone wall along the whole front of my house, so that's why the pic is like that... in this pic last fall, the cabin was to my back. i'd be good with a torch
SchaumburgStormer
Incredible bo. More in three days than I had on the season. Mood flakes flying off and on all afternoon. IWXwx
Just accumulated 0.3" with a heavy burst of large dendrites. The pennies and nickles continue to pad the stats. People will look back at the snowfall totals in this area think that it wasn't that bad of a winter, when in fact it was craptastic.
