weatherbo
I'm a little west of MKE this afternoon. 66° there currently. This weekend can be described as bipolar. --- Good lord Bo! What's the ratios like? The 14" between yesterday and today averaged 17:1.
snowcaine
Finally starting to see shades of white on the grass now. Roads still bare but that's because rates have been pretty light.
stormtrackertf
Turned out to be an okay day. Lots of sun, and it made it into the upper 40's.YIP made it to 50 with no precip at all, just scattered clouds and some overcast, while Bad Axe has been at 24 with moderate snow all day.In my yard you would literally have no clue that 100 miles away there was a major snow storm occurring. cyclone77
Sitting at 77, which is the high so far. Mid-level clouds have moved in the last hour or so, and may have reduced our shot at 80. Still a tremendous day to say the least. MLI hit 79 at last check, but it's still possible they may have hit 80 after the climo came out at 4:20. Muscatine sitting at 82. Wow. snowstormcanuck
Snow has stopped here in London as we nudged into the warm sector. Actually can see some dim sunshine to the west. lol Moderate SN being reported at YYZ already. You guys are going to rock out tonight.
daddylonglegs
La Crosse was 75F ... Went to the park. People everywhere. I can tell colder air is working in now. On the way home the temp dropped from 71F downtown to 65F when we got back home. I see MSP has dropped about 10F the last few hours. Winds also turned. harrisale
A good 1.5" down since about 4pm. Accumulating poorly on roads but well everywhere else. Thinking 8" snowfall is possible. This is in addition to about 6cm down yesteday/last night. About 2cm of that was left today when snow started up this evening.

Ottawa Blizzard
Snowing heavily at my place. Just drove back from watching a Blue Jays game at a bar (didn't drink). Roads are snow covered. Snow accumulating rapidly. Dendrites falling.

In my yard you would literally have no clue that 100 miles away there was a major snow storm occurring. YIP will always be the warmest no matter what.As recently as 1pm there was snow on the grass and icicles on the roof, it's now in the 40s...feels cool but in a matter of hours it was a marked change from feeling like mid winter. The front temp contrast is amazing. Today's high will be this evening and tomorrow's high will be shortly after midnight. Both Saturday and tomorrow will have daytime highs in the 30s but the official high will be 40s the frontal timings.
cyclone77
Wow, just had 60-65mph winds for a few mins out of a light rain shower. Pretty crazy. Gonna have to go look around the neighborhood for damage. That was nuts.
snowcaine
Not doing as well in the west end of GTA. Have had multiple donut holes move through. Mostly -SN pixie dust stuff. Just starting to accumulate on the road now. Got 0.5" on the grass.
Jackstraw
One more post on the wind yesterday. Dude in Indy was in the car and got out with only a scratch. 695128-83476.jpg Woe that's crazy stuff! Landed in IND about 3:30 yesterday from Denver. We missed the approach 2 times before the pilot could set her down due to the wind. Wild ride to say the least, but it was fun

snowcaine
Even Pearson with the nipher is at 3cm (1.2") last check. You're in quite the screwhole. Honestly, I'm okay with it. I wasn't really happy to see the late season snowfall so I'll take an underperformance IMBY. Continue to alternate between mood flakes and -SN. West GTA seems to be in the axis of these little dry slots dropping in from the NW. I'd say Pearson-Mississauga and Eastern GTA will do pretty well. Radar has been very consistent since 4 pm. Up to 1.5" now
Hoosier
45 degree swing at ORD with a low of 26 and a high of 71. Not sure when the last 45 degree range was as I went back through last year and didn't find one.

snowcaine
2.4" at YYZ. That report is from 9PM. Makes sense, given my numbers and their snowfall consistency. Amazed that they snuck in an obs for SN. This is one event where we can't be niphered. Winds are calm.
