Exactly Ginxy, those are all very very nice looks...something should pop from that set-up/look.  Maybe it just goes BOOM on some of these upcoming model runs.  Man that is a really nice set up!!

GEFS run closed 700 and 850 lows just under NE. Lets see what the euro does but that 12Z GEFS run was pretty encouraging especially Pike south

Knew it.  Wasn't the Euro the last to jump on board for Sunday mornings system?  Not saying it's wrong, but it doesn't seem the same lately.

Yes, it did struggle with Sunday.

We'll see if the meso models look good as we get closer...but the RGEM was really far south at 48h (still out in lala land for that model though)

I would have been taken by surprise, but luckily I've been prepping for it since mid February.

  I love the responses when someone mentions winter threats ending for the season.

Another surprise night tonight for the VT folks?

I could see something above 2,000-2,500ft possibly...been following that second bundle of energy sparking an organized area of showers.  Looks like around a quarter inch of QPF, so may be a pasty 2-3" late tonight up high?  Tomorrow it looks like 925mb temps hold around 0C or -1C, so probably some elevation dependent snow showers with rain showers under 2,000ft.

I could see the summits adding a few more inches over the next 24 hours in general though.  The most winter we've had in a while, lol.
