OceanStWx
Storm was kind of a bust in SE areas. You can follow the money, but it's never a good idea to follow the QPF. Mid level magic written all over this one.

ORH_wxman
Pretty decent event...the snow growth was excellent this morning. The ML fronto sig really worked out the best on this event...which is somewhat typical when you have an open wave with little inflow.
powderfreak
Many towns did...6" is warning. As long as it is less than 12 hours which it was. The old criteria was 7" but that changed a long time ago. Ah I thought it was 7".Yeah then looks like about 20 towns out of the 100+ on that PNS hit warning criteria. Looks like ratios really helped. I know the ASOS under report QPF in snow events but no one seemed even close to the wetter models. Looks like a 0.1-0.5" QPF event everywhere it snowed. Absolutely, it's the easy way out. Even Ekster had to play catch up with our forecast, because despite the banding potential looking to be along the coast we had the QPF offshore. OceanStWx
Ah I thought it was 7". Yeah then looks like about 20 towns out of the 100+ on that PNS hit warning criteria. In reality it looks like Middlesex and Essex which went into, out of, and back into a watch, then advisory, could've been a warning after all.
