Cyg
Cell moving just north of me into the Morristown area. A bit of rolling thunder with it. That severe warned one down at the PA/NJ border looks like it's going to vault up this way. Edit: and here's the next storm, looks to go north again but there's a lot more thunder with this one. Heavy rain and some gusty winds now.

bluewave
Continuous lightning to my east. The best light show that I have seen so far this early in the season to my south right now. These steep midlevel lapse rates have been really delivering recently. Now if we can just keep these into the summer we'll be in business.

gravitylover
4/1/97? Insane snowfall rates, thunder, lightning and crazy wind just after the trees leafed out. This doesn't look like it will be anywhere near as much snow thankfully but does look like it will be as much fun to watch unfold.

Stormlover74
with a somewhat saturated ground, the threat of power outages seem significant....and under-mentioned? What else needs to be said? * HIGH WIND IMPACTS...DOWNED POWER LINES AND TREES...ESPECIALLY TREES THAT ARE ALREADY FLOWERING AND LEAFING OUT...MAY POTENTIALLY RESULT IN POWER OUTAGES. SOME DAMAGE IS POSSIBLE TO BUILDING STRUCTURES. DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES ON NORTH-SOUTH ROADS DUE TO CROSS WINDS...AND ALSO ON BRIDGES AND OTHER ELEVATED ROADWAYS. They aren't out yet this year and we're way ahead of schedule that was a warm winter too (96-97) with march being fairly warm too. Things were ahead of schedule back then as well. snowman19
Notice the counterclockwise swirl/rotation theme to the radar over the Great Lakes. That energy heads towards the coast later tonight. A lot of that looks low-level lake enhanced/convergence induced. Still, very impressive lapse rates and mid and upper level dynamics
