bluewave
Mt. Holly had a nice historical summary about this for PHL this morning actually. This may be only the 7th time in history to get measurable snow after hitting 80. Thanks for those dates. The storm to beat looks like the 3/24/90 snow. Atlantic City picked up 3.8 inches after reaching 85 earlier in the month. That was another wacky winter with one of the coldest Decembers on record followed near record warmth in January and February. http://www1.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/orders/IPS/IPS-D1270568-39CC-4CE3-B800-89C1E63AC6B0.pdf http://mp1.met.psu.edu/~fxg1/NARR/1990/us0325.php

EastonSN+
This storm reminds me a bit of the anafrontal from earlier this year when the snow ended up west of the guidence. Received 9 was modeled for 2 to 4.

Islip only began keeping proper snow records from 2007 forward; the period that preceded that date constituted an abomination from an accuracy perspective. For example; the December 2003 blizzard was recorded as a "Trace".
psv88
Upton's latest WWA upped Nassau and Western Suffolk to 3-5", which is a great call for those areas. Still think my area of western suffolk sees around 4 inches on the grass
ag3
Sref plumes are 4"-7" for NYC, Coastal NJ and LI. 3"-5" for most of the rest of NJ.
ag3
LGA and ISP receive the same accumulated snow on the plumes. As does coastal NJ. Reason is that LI and coastal NJ are 1-2 degrees warmer.
