I wouldn't be concerned about the NAM, at any point in time. I agree though if the Euro comes back east, it's probably over at this point. Some light snow won't accumulate well this late in March-you really need the good rates and dynamics to accumulate well if it's during daytime.

I'd agree with that. It's a pretty important Euro run tonight. The 00z suites will seal our fate if they go bad tonight

  :axe:

What a shame. Fitting end to this winter. :violin:

I know, Central Park's 2nd best (I'd argue the best) snowstorm ever, JFK's best ever, and for many a 40"+ winter. Fitting. :axe:

What I would've given to be home for that...

At least I was home for the coldest reading at Central Park since 1994 I guess... (wow, that was cold, coming from 80F in Austin the day before)

Anyone calling this winter a fail needs his/her head examined.

Guess the seasonal trend didn't work so well this time...at least this hasn't happened all year long for some of us :/

Yeah, you guys up in the Catskills were really hosed. What do you have for the season? The worst part about it is how many people rely on snow in the mountains for their living in the winter.

I have 8.7" that includes 1.3 of sleet

I'm not even in the Catskills, I'm only about 25 miles north of SWRF

Too many people Are just looking at the snowmaps and saying GGEM looks good... To me, it looks terrible and throws a red flag that those snow maps are overdone

You have extremely light snowfall to light moderate snowfall falling for the duration, no heavy banding, nada... You have 2mt that never go below 30, and in most cases is at or above freezing during the event, and 850 temps that are between 0 and -3/-4 depending on location... Your not even close to 10:1 ratios with that set-up

Not to mention a 1001mb low that deepens way to late

If these models are correct on that location anyone west of central Long Island is getting white rain... 1" MAX IMO
