nrgjeff
Another event over achieves locally. Low level winds backed nicely and strengthened across parts of the Mid South as the surface low and warm front approached. Situation was not too dissimilar to March 1 in Alabama, which was more outflow boundary influenced. Both cases involved locally backed/stronger surface winds, setting the table for storm inflow. Small short wavelength upstairs waves were able to gather severe ingredients over a small area. Yesterday March 13 ingredients came together quickly across the Mid South, despite being in the wake of another system.
