JasonOH
Just a heads up, the SPC appears to have a server problem that is causing the categorical outlook to not update correctly. I had a friend who was in there yesterday and they mentioned some backend problems. On another note, I hope the HRRR doesn't verify around DFW. I'm also worried about Austin. it's South By Southwest this week, one of the biggest music/movie/interactive festivals in the world. lots of out-of-towners in that metro attm. Going to be interesting to see how much affect the storms this morning had on the area. You can clearly see on visible the outflow out by Abilene this morning that may cause issues for someone. JasonOH
I totally forgot SXSW was this week. A bunch of people from out of town does not tend to go well with tornadoes. Edit: used the wrong word. Thanks Jim for making me notice.

Msalgado
I think the area to watch this afternoon is further south from DFW. West of 35 from Austin to Waco is clearing out with that boundary surging south. I really feel that's going to be the place to watch from some development this afternoon. ClicheVortex2014
Thank goodness, we've had quite the day already! Don't get too comfortable. If it went away that fast, it could come back just as quick. In closer range (hour 7), it's showing a bunch of discrete supercells popping. Some of them go on to live for a couple hours. jhamps10
Yeah, my office is on the 33rd floor and I noticed that the clouds were trying to clear out a bit here in ft worth... Not what you want to see but staying aware.. Would not be shocked to see some supercells this afternoon especially sw of dfw where the line cleared out quicker than the Metropolitan area.. jm1220
Definitely quite a bit of clearing here in Austin after this morning's rain. That will destabilize things for late this afternoon.

PGM
The supercell near Evant TX near State Hwy 281 & 84 (west of Waco) needs to be watched closely and should strengthen to severe status as it moves northeast into a more favorable environment. Certainly. It might be trying to ride the OFB. The problem with this not easily becoming tornadic is the SRH, especially in the low levels, is negligible. Otherwise it'd be nasty. ClicheVortex2014
Last time I'll post about this; HRRR brought back the long-lived supercell. It suggests it'll originate from the convection that's on the US/Mexican border right now. http://i.imgur.com/O3k9l7s.png
Calderon
The atmosphere got really worked over here in the Metroplex, so I'd almost place a sure bet we're done until the overnight stuff comes in from the southwest after midnight.
1900hurricane
Not much going on with the cell near Pidcoke. Feels like it's just a little bit on the wrong side of the outflow boundary. Even if it wasn't, it's about to cross over Fort Hood anyway, making it unchaseable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
radarman
CASA radar showing 80+ mph winds moving towards Ft. Worth Nice... yeah we got that Ft Worth radar up yesterday morning for the first time. Thrown straight into the fire... saw a good storm yesterday and today it got hit pretty good earlier as that core moved up I820 through Lake Worth back into Ft Worth. This is from that same cell... note the droplet sorting in the ZDR image at the bottom... might have to squint at it.
Superstorm93
This supercell crossing over already has moderate rotation... Yesterday I expressed my concern for these types of cells, but I thought we'd see them a little later in the day.
Msalgado
I'm in Temple currently. Hoping that lonely cell wanders east enough and maybe a wobble south to find that boundary again.
andyhb
Short range HRRR is really igniting that outflow boundary over the next few hours here. Multiple strong UH streaks into the later evening hours.

Calderon
Dewpoints are recovering fairly nicely in the DFW area. We have a range of 64 in Cleburne, 60 at Love Field, 58 at DFW, 61 at FTW-Spinks, and 59 at McKinney. Also sitting at 70 at Love Field now, so I guess we can not completely rule anything out rolling in earlier than expected.
