This looks like a slam dunk warning event for Lake and a portion of Cook at this point.

Doesn't seem to be sinking south fast like up here on my cheesy radar.. If this puppy can set up and drop shop , wow.

I'm finally geyting over my bitterness of MKE duping me when I pretty much knew better than to get invested in this and can appreciate the event as a whole now.

It appears to my untrained eye that the band starting to progress more quickly to the south as Racine looks to be alomst out of it.

Looks like it will shift a bit to the east only to come back west again, as returns over mid-lake are pulling back west again after an east shift/re-development a bit earlier which is what's being shown down stream.

I been telling you guys what was gonna happen in the next few days and my thinking was right. See if ingredients came right it can happen anywhere not just the other side of the lake.

I gotta give you your props.. You had been talking about LE warnings for a few days now.. Your persistence paid of.. in this case...thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Edit:

I'll go with Highland Park- 14.6 inchesSnowman.gif

New LOT map...It will bust in Lake and Northern Cook at least...

Anybody who has been studying the radar for the past few hours knows that there are going to be some big totals. This type of event highlights the problems with trying to maintain some sort of continuity in forecasting. It's not a totally useless concept but you can't do it when you get an intense quasi-stationary band of LES like this. Personally this would drive me crazy if I were a met.
