ChescoWx
So it appears at least some in the area will have a light to possibly moderate snow event to start off the first month of spring....by the way go Phillies! I know they will not be good this year....but I do think better then last year and IMHO they are the last and next philly team to win it all! Looks like snow beginning after midnight tomorrow night....
hazwoper
Interesting feature. Clipper that looks to redevelop off coast. How far south, though will it be? Should at least be cool to track

ChescoWx
Thinking it will actually be a drier snow than some are forecasting at this time - while it is precipitating it will be colder than modeled - intereresting to be sure... Birds~69
Looks like Glenn is going with 2-3" from mid/southern portions of Mont/Bucks counties through Philly into Jersey. It's going to be the sloppy/stick to grass with maybe a little slush on back roads. Much of it will fall after sunrise w/temps above freezing in March which isn't ideal. Birds~69
Glenn (NBC 10) lowered their totals for the 11pm news cast (from the 6pm). From 2-3" (6pm) to a general 1" (11pm)...maybe a tad more, 2" tops but not likely.

Ralph Wiggum
Winter's last gasp on life support. And with low ratios (8:1 at best) squeezing out an inch of snow is going to be a real challenge in many spots tho I am guessing 'around an inch' will be the regional avg with this one. The Iceman
surprised to even see WWA posted...this seems like it will be a non event- nuisance event. coatings for all, maybe an inch lollipop.

I think it's because of the timing. Starts around midnight/early morning hours...maybe a 1/2" or so on the ground by the pre dawn morning rush and snowing...temps below freezing. Stupid drivers, you get the drift...
ChescoWx
although qpf looks blah....ratios will likely be a little better than 10:1 during the overnight and very early AM hours....0.11" in NW Chesco could equal 1.5" - thinking a general 1 to 2" a good bet - timing is good for those that want accumulation Winter's last gasp on life support. The difference between .25" or so here and there.
Ralph Wiggum
Our wettest model, now the 18z NAM, gives the region around a half inch snow on avg. (based off of tt snowfall maps). Maybe close to an inch snow in South Jersey. Guess it could be worse.....it could have come in even drier or warmer I suppose :-)
Birds~69
NBC10 going with <1" in/around Philly...surprisingly 6abc (accu weather) going w/1-2".
Ralph Wiggum
Latest HRRR has decreased snowfall yet again to merely flurries and mood flakes with a 'heavy dusting' at best for most of the area North of the m/d line. Obviously the farther South u go, the better. South Jersey gets between .1-.2 LE.

Redmorninglight
35f with 23dewpoint. No idea what to expect. Some recent short range models really bring the moisture. Pretty confident we start as snow but will we flip to rain in the morning. I'll take my chances with solid rates.

Redmorninglight
Not too much virga. Dew was 12 earlier today but we saturated pretty fast. Dusting on grill and deck. Rates slowly increasing.
