Spring severe weather chatter

Tornadoes love La Plata. Weird.

The Potomac enhances these things. Pretty evident that we do indeed have mini tornado alleys around our region. I think there's another one in S central PA like in the Chambersburg, PA area.

I remember in 2008 it seemed like the Fredericksburg/Stafford area had become its own little tornado alley, but we haven't had any years that were like that since.

Did not see any tornadic-style circulation on either Andrews

or Reagan, which is what would be more accurate than the

NEXRAD for lower circulations.  The supercell had strong

mid-level rotation for awhile, so seeing the TOR get issued

when it did was confusing.

I wasn't a fan and don't want any more. My cars are parked outside and I have a fresh vegetable garden planted. Thankfully no dents from what I saw and my veggies had a forcefield around them.

Same here. Veggies look ok. Neighbor has a dent in his hood .crazy hail. Don't want any bigger.
