The cells along the NJ coast and headed south to north thru NYC are the strongest ones right now. Velocity radar supports strongest winds in those cells at the moment.

 

Was just about to post that. Those transverse bands mean business, being oriented in perfect fashion to slam the low level jet down to the ground. Almost don't need them out here with the wind easily gusting 50-55 mph.
