snowstormcanuck
32.5F rain is the worst. I'm actually headed your way in a few days en route to YYZ. Cool. The Forest City welcomes you.

hm8
Have remained on the snow side of the mixing line here in West Bloomfield (SE, but just barely. Which has led to some pretty impressive aggregate size. 3-4" OTG
weathergy
DTX still incorporated the mixing into their latest update if I recall. Map still shows you getting roughly 6 inches total. It's not mixing. It's pure rain. Pouring rain. What ever accumulated will be history soon.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

n1vek
Been rain for quite some time downtown. Curious how things have been looking back home in Royal Oak. I get the vibe they have been riding the rain/snow/sleet line.

hm8
Very defined rain/snow line on dual pol scans. Impressive rates I'm hearing out of northern Oakland. Any chance of over performing just went right out the window. Oh well, it was nice to have some hope. extremewx52
Snowfall ratios are definitely a big negative with this event. Large wet flakes when there is better lift, and pixie dust without the lift. That high DGZ combined with the strong winds and near freezing surface temps definitely hurts. Also, our snow core of 4.5 inch depth came out with 0.73" of water... Ouch.

michsnowfreak
Had a lot of sleet here. 0.7" of sleet/snow and just west at DTW they had 2.0". Major cutoff. Pouring rain. Its a slurpee outside. Hoping for some good deformation.
btcs31
Loud popping noise in the distance. My power went out and came back on. Not a great sign. Lights flickering here. Been keeping an eye on the NIPSCO outage map. Starting to jump up in places. As mentioned earlier the wind could possibly help by keeping the heavy snow from accumulating on trees.
