18z NAM is pretty good tonight...these later runs have been a lot different than Euro.

NAM even has an unstable sounding from about 550-700mb later this evening. That could be some S+ in a couple bands if it is correct. RAP doesn't show this until later on when we're basically flipping to pellets or ZR.

In all seriousness..the Euro has been struggling a good deal ever since the blizzard. It did ok with last weeks cutter , but not before it showed a couple monster snowstorms for us out of it

you may be surprised tonight after your its over meh comment this morning if latest modeling is correct. Better to have than to not had at all. Lt snow at work flake size getting better.

Perhaps..ideally i'd like to maximize a couple inches this evening..then have 12-18 hours of zr..then have some big time wind gusts over 60 tomorrow night into Thursday and take down a few Oaks

Flood watches for northern maine-don't often see that in February

Ehh I think you see them often this time of year if there's a cutter...Feb and March are prime-time for massive ice jam flooding. You start seeing flood watches sometimes even for a couple warm days and it's usually all tied to ice jam concerns.
