It'll be interesting to see if this slug of rain scours out some of the cold air.  Though that line back along I-81 looks like the main event and these things tend to wrap up quicker than forecast.

Would the rain cool the air though? Or is this difference since it is much warmer off the surface?

Short range models did a decent job highlighting the temp disparity and CAD.  Too bad it held firm, likely going to put a lid on anything decent other than a rogue spin up.  I gotta stop excited over these crapshoot events.

 

Yeah I was hoping to see some destroyed homes today, how disappointing.  :weep:
