im sure there's something more extreme than that. I want to see like 500 inches a year. I think I'm going to retire at a place like that

If you want to stay east go as high as possible in the jay peak area. Over 2k you should average about 250". The upper Penn of Michigan is good for 200"

Out West the skies literally the limits. High up in the cascades ( not sure how high you could realistically live) and we are talking 500" plus

Where's the snowiest town on the lower 48?

I wanna move there I'm tired of these models tricking me

Tug Hill plateau in upstate NY would do you well.  (maybe not this year though)   Washington State Mountains and Colorado mountains sometimes see in excess of 400 inches a year

Meh, I'd be worried about lahars destroying my home from a future eruption.

You watch too many disaster shows lol.

Of course it could happen but there are disasters waiting to happen world-wide in basically every part of every country.
