Haha it's ok.

I get paid in sunshine and smiles.

So then the next logical question would be...adult to adult...if no genuine economic benefit is derived and there is no dependency on the position for sustenance, why the overarching concern with enforcing a bunch of rules that, when you get right down to it...are highly rooted in subjective evaluations?

An income? I get yelled at by people all day in public and via PM. That's the only thing coming to me out of this job. Lol

You're father just doesn't/didn't get it.

I don't post often but I'm here fairly frequently, you and Bx do a great job. Thank you to both of you.

Bc I care about our weather community. I've learned so much from reading posts here over the years. But I also remember when I'd have to wade through 50 posts of garbage in a row in a storm thread just to get to something of substance. So I decided I wanted to try to give back something to the weather community and do a thankless job so that hopefully things run a little more smoothly.

You're father just doesn't/didn't get it.

He exited stage right about 15 years ago...but he was an amazingly brilliant man...100 times smarter than me...and an excellent father and husband to my mother.  Having him for a dad was one area I got *very* lucky in.

If someone were to ask me what was the best thing to happen to me over the course of my life...having him for a father would be an answer that would require not even a moment of contemplation.

*He also played a *very* important role in American legal history*

I can't get off my phone when I am with her, even in bed.

For most people...it would be the other way around...

Lol whatever man... After seeing some true colors tonight I have no desire to post here anymore, try talking weather and gets personal as usual. ****ing nuts.. Over weather....

I may be the only one, but I boarder line agree with most of what you have said. Maybe not the way you said it though.

Sometimes it can get a little out of hand. But after moderating a few political Facebook groups with thousands of members, I understand the struggle lol.

You know its bad when people are using the navgem, jma, kma, and nam at 84 hours to make arguments that somehow this is trending towards a more favorable solution. I would add to the circus with the CRAS except it's a fairly flat wave that goes from SC to Bermuda with the precip shield staying well S and E.

The KMA thing was a joke. Lol. I mean the map was upside-down and you'd break your neck trying to figure it out.

so far this cold season has only 37 days that had a minimum of 32 or lower in NYC...the lowest amount on record is 37 set in 2011-12...2001-02 had 47 and 1997-98 had 49...2015-16 needs 13 in March and April to get to 50 32 or lower days...the last two years averaged 89.5 days...December 2015 was the first December with no days below 32 degrees...An astounding record...

This is likely the end of Winter, at least for the forceable future. I'm not sure what the end of March into April is forecasted to look like.

could always get a sneaky event-look at March 1998-4-5 inches of slop in an inferno month and it was in the 80's 5 days after that event...anything is possible, but looks like we are going to torch a good part of this month, sad that we're reduced to tracking a 2 inch deal....

Some places could be running as high as 25-30 degrees above average by day 10. The ensembles are a blowtorch.

reminds me of March 2012. Hopefully we get a big ridge and SW winds...no backdoors or SE/E flows please

I never understood the rush to get to 70s and 80s as soon as winter ended. You'll see many, many months of it soon and then some.

But for the heat mongers you'll get your wish this March.
