Couplet reforming between Kenly and Fremont and another one right behind it headed for Princeton.....Wilson folks need to get ready....

Headed for somewhere safer. Home is way too close to Fremont for comfort. Currently just west of Wilson and it is pouring, with frequent lightning.

Love stormchasers as much as everyone else but it doesnt seem a wise decision to chase in rural nc after dark chasing storms racing at over 70mph. Somebody is going to get run over by one of these cells.

Agreed. And that Brandon Copic guy is going to end up killing someone or himself the way he is driving, if he doesn't get hit by a cell first.

Hopefully the southern cells calm down and this event quiets down...I got to wait out the stuff down by Clinton etc but so far it seems to have taken it down a notch intensity wise....

couplet near Pinetops NE of Wilson looks pretty good....

Yeah lets hope. That same cell is still looking strong as it moves out of Tarboro. Might need a tornado warning soon.

Counting our blessings --- tons of potential with these storms today for many locations. I'm really surprised none of them brought along any of the strong winds around here that they had talked about, but obviously that has been an issue in many other areas.

Along with the others, I'd  like to thank all those posters outside the Southeast Forum family for all your contributions and insight these past few days.
