All clear given on the UNC campus. They just let staff out of the basements. No damage reports yet.

I already drove around campus and through some neighborhoods, worst I saw was a few large branches in the road and tons of smaller ones. Any word on Oxford? I have 2 coworkers up there

Need any ground reports out of Oxford please. Have many relatives just NE of town which is where the signature looks to be. Social media links are appreciated!

Would this be the storm you're referring to? "

Stedman NC about to take a hit, this is easily the strongest long lived couplet of the day......if it holds up Goldsboro, Wilson, Greenville if it heads more east are in the path and its getting dark....not much to its south to shut it down either.

Stedman might have serious damage. This one has a chance to track a very long way like you are eluding too.
