usedtobe
Still too early to make a call on the storm though the pattern still isn't a great one for getting a snowstorm. The models may continue to jump around with their tracks over the next few runs.. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/capital-weather-gang/wp/2016/02/18/still-no-model-consensus-on-possible-winter-storm-next-week-rain-or-snow-possible/
The Dude
Nice write-up, Wes. If only every storm were as easy to forecast as the January blizzard...
ThreeRedheads
Wes, So much uncertainty! I'm sure it makes it difficult for your write up, but you did a great job explaining the different models and scenarios. I don't have the link for the plume diagram you posted. Do you have the URL? Thanks!

Thanks! Here's the site it's from, you can pick the site, I usually use Sterling or occasionally BWI and pick whether you want the GEFS or SREF. I used the GEFS in the article. Last night's model runs have made today's article easier. http://cms.met.psu.edu/sref/ensembles/Plumes.html
