Schools opening 2-hours late today here due to storm damage. Many roads closed, trees down, power lines down, power outages. Dodged the bullet at my exact location but apparently the North side of the school district here was hit rather hard. Its a rare day when a 2-hour delay in Feb is caused by t-storms as opposed to wintry weather. Unreal.

2.44" of rain for yesterday in NW Chesco, 2.90" total for both events. Hourly rainfall rate hit 9.93"

last evening. High temperature 62.7. Washout debris on many roads as well as my driveway and yard.

Stream crested well over bank full. Still a few forlorn piles of snow left. Max wind a paltry 18

mph in the valley. Could hear the roar of 40+ wind on nearby hilltops. Raining again this morning.
