Sophisticated Skeptic
It must of been a light, drizzly freezing mist all night. (tops of trees much heavier accumulated than bottom)
JTA66
I was really hoping for a back-loaded winter this year. While I didn't expect Feb to be wall to wall cold and snow, I thought we'd get our chances. Looks like Feb 2016 will be remembered for severe weather more than anything else. I think most were thinking of a back-door winter scenario, expecting a quicker switch to La Nina...but this El Nino has been quite sustained. Birds~69
Tornado watches never pan out in this area...I think the Limerick tornado 22 yrs ago that reeked havoc was the closest to my area. At least that's all I remember...

At least that's all I remember... Wasn't this early last year, but up in the lehigh valley and west we had a fair number of warnings (at least compared to what I remember) think a couple ended up being confirmed tornadoes with structural damage. Always better to pay attention than the brush it off though... no one wants to be a statistic.
AnthonyDabbundo
We had a tornado warning here in Collegeville/Royersford last year that brought down a lot of trees, don't think it was a tornado but in-line winds did some serious damage

I'm just on the edge of the storm so I don't think the wind is totally mixing down here, but for the past 10 minutes or more, I've been hearing pretty good roaring.
