CapturedNature
Street was still icy at home. My cement front steps were slippery. It takes a while to heat up a mass of rock after it's been in the deep freeze. On Sunday I had to pack some syrup that had been in drums and despite sitting inside a heated room for several hours, I measured the temp in the canner and it was still 25° - no wonder there was ice all over them!
