noctilucent
Temp up to 22.8 now in Warrington, Bucks Co. 1.0" ..... anything that gets me over 30" is nice, but still a bit of a letdown on the rates. Another thing I noticed even earlier today as I was driving through it, a lot of this was NOT snow.....it was graupel rolling down my windshield and a lot of sugar-like ice crystals, so ratios were low. Maybe we had enough QPF for 2", but what fell was mostly NON-SNOW....I could feel the difference in consistency, even underfoot when I went out to measure. Many of us changed over to sleet etc in SE PA and inward while that shows snow.

zenmsav6810
Just switched to freezing rain here. Expecting lots of ice with this storm despite what you folks say about the HRRR's cold bias I think it could verify even with just one heavy band of precipitation. noctilucent
Well, it's crunch time - not like anything is being decided, but enough ZR has fallen to make a crunchy layer on top of my amorphous frozen material.

The Iceman
Temp up two degrees in the last hour to 27. All freezing rain now and a solid glaze over everything. Guessing we flip to plain rain by 8 pm latest. Will be interesting to see the accretion in that time. Edit: up 3 degrees to 28.

The Iceman
ZR and 22F wowYou may of underperformed snow wise but I think you're going to be in for a pretty decent icing event. Probably 4 hours or more of steady freezing rain.
