Hurricane Agnes
Was out in it this morning on an errand north of here (Abington) and just got back home. Currently very fine light snow and fog with about 1/8" dusting on everything including treated streets. Temp 21F and winds light and steady out of the SE. It didn't really get going enough to start coating anything until the past hour or so here.

Trying to enjoy this 'cause doesn't look to be any more in the near future. Hope all you folks north and west do great!

It always works out this way. People focus on how slowly DC changes over and the advancement of the changeover from south to north. The problem is, in out neck of the woods the changeover typically occurs sooner due to later advancement of the changeover from SE to NW.

I lived(suffered) through the '70s and remembered being frustrated how cold it could be then every shot at snow we would have there was a worry of it changing over to rain. Perfect thread title referencing the '70s storm.
