Drz1111
This is pretty awesome to watch from a high rise in lower Manhattan. Oh yeah. From my building, you could see a vortex being generated in the lee of another hi-rise across the street, but it was raining so hard the vortex was visible. Looked like a goddamn tornado. bluewave
Ottawa joins NYC in setting a new all-time daily snowfall record this winter. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/ottawa-hit-with-record-breaking-snowfall/article28776443/ It was a record-breaking snow day in the national capital. By Tuesday evening, Ottawa had been struck by more than 46 centimetres of snow, pushing past the Feb. 16 record of 39.6 set in 1954, and all-time single-day record of 40.6 set in March of 1947. Environment Canada says at times snow was piling up at a rate of four centimetres an hour, and a total above 50 is likely by the time it ends. http://www.weather.gov/media/okx/Climate/CentralPark/GreatestDailySnowfall.pdf
