looking at the radar it's really looking gd,the cold air is entrenched right now and the 1st wave looks all frozen.currently 19/9f..i think 3-5 is more then likely around here before changeover. :snowing:

The low level cold air may stay entrenched a bit longer but the mid and upper level warm push will be un-denied. The longer the low level cold air hangs on, the more freezing rain areas will receive.

just noticed that a few spots right on the south/central Jersey shore are already above freezing.

With an ESE wind not surprising. Water temperatures are in the low 40's which like our winter is way above normal for this time of year. They should be in the 34-37 range about now, they're currently 40-43
