MacintoshPro
Short range guidance suggests the majority of the area doesn't get above freezing until at least 3AM, doesn't look to warm up that quickly until morning. Actually 4K holds us below freezing until 6AM then very quickly warms up. OPM better close if we're below freezing until 6AM!

Snowman.
OPM better close if we're below freezing until 6AM! I think the max they would do is a 2 or 3 hour delay.

NorthArlington101
This stuff isn't building up at all and I suspect it really isn't anywhere else I believe you man, it may not be building up here anymore but I'm too scared to walk out and check. Tried to take out the trash earlier and had to give up walking down the driveway.
EastCoast NPZ
Good to see that almost all the precip held off out here until the flip to rain. 26F and pretty icy out.
BTRWx
This stuff isn't building up at all and I suspect it really isn't anywhere else The heavier bands are big time ice. Whenever you can hear that hissing instead of the spritzing, you know anyone on the roads are in trouble.
Warm Nose
This stuff isn't building up at all and I suspect it really isn't anywhere else It's definitely building up here. I have moderate ZR right now and it is slowly accreting.
PhineasC
This stuff isn't building up at all and I suspect it really isn't anywhere else No way. Rising temps in the upper 20s is a classic recipe for an ice storm around these parts!

I mean I don't doubt decks and hand rails and driveways and some sidewalks are slick...I'm not trying to troll but it's not an ice storm...it's some rain with temps just cold enough for some slickness...i get it though...it's raining and in the 20s seems like it should be fun
Kingstonian
29 and heaviest rain of the night in SSW Franconia/Kingstowne. Sidewalks (except mine, which I didn't fully shovel) are treacherous. HOA plowed roads are slick. County-treated roads are fine. I don't have a good accessible tree or anything to measure ice accretion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Stormpc
Surfaces are iced over. Snow is capped with nice ice sheet. Limbs are encapsulated. Icicles everywhere. Surface water ponding on ice in the street from mod shower. That "may" freeze, may not. Im at 27.5 with this heavier shower.
66degreesnorth
I think this is trolling.IDK, cwg just spit out a graphic showing temps near 50 degrees by mid to late morning. Even if we get .2 inches of "ice" tonight hard to see how a 2 hour delay wouldn't solve everything, which would make this a rather pathetic ice storm. Mrs.J
Driveway is a skating rink. Solid sheet of ice. Our street which the HOA contractors cleared and treated are just as icy. Hope for some warmer temps in the morning.
