RichmondTarHeel
Drove out to breakfast in Reston. Snow looked like graupel for a while, bouncing off the hood. Now we're getting nice big flakes. Penny to nickel sized.
Fozz
i keep glancing at radar and out the window, trying to figure out the best time to head home Getting steady light snow here... nothing impressive, but still looks very nice outside with everything covered. Very wintry scene

NinjaWarrior2
Light Snow, I certainly think someone in Central/Northern MD/NW VA outside of a WSW can reach 5". *cough cough* Westminster. Also temps running slightly colder than 0z/6z GFS.
Bob Chill
Just got up. Impressive... surprised how well this first part of the event is doing. I'm not a very good snow forecaster when it comes to details. I think the jack zones are benefitting 2 ways. Qpf under done a little but ratios most likely a good bit above 10:1. Wouldn't be surprised at 15:1 or maybe even higher.
MillvilleWx
That's one awesome band over DC. I hope you guys down there can push 6-8" before the flip. Awesome!!
WVsnowlover
Starting to see some flakes again. Hoping to double the 1" I currently have. Congrats to everyone getting getting the goods! Was fun watching the radar last night to the east of Fredericksburg even if I was a little jealous. We do better 9/10 times so can't complain. Raven94
I love KBWI radar. the low beam is outstanding for showing where decent snow and heavy snow is falling. LWX radar failing on the north side. Been Lightly snowing here for a hour. LWX showed nothing.
DDweatherman
Despite not being under the best returns yet (they're coming in from the SW) snowing at least at a moderate clip in Dundalk, SE Baltimore. Little over an inch on the ground by the looks of it, haven't had a chance to get out in it yet.

clskinsfan
Super light snow here. Another western fringe-job. I guess the one thing we can look forward to is we will flip later than everyone else. But we lost a lot QPF to being fringed. The models actually showed us getting fringed pretty well over the past couple of days so it was modeled. Looks like it should start here again within the next hour or so. DDweatherman
Honestly a lot to like at this point. Temps around 20, moderate to heavy snow, daytime event. A day off for most, and what I expected last night to be an over performer looking to come to fruition. Let's enjoy it
