rawlee
Little bit of SN mixing with the sleet now, turned into a big mess quick on the roads.
jburns
Still totally dry here. One interesting thing though. My temp has now been 24º for 24 hours. The only thing that has changed is the dewpoint. It has slowly risen from 1º to 20º.
AirNelson39
Not sure how given the rates we had at times but we only wound up with 2" in Boone. Looks to be mostly rain from here on out up here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
yotaman
Had a little freezing rain here this morning but temp has now risen up to 37/35. Nothing but rain from here on out.

SN_Lover
The low is so far south than what models predicted. Something to keep in mind maybe? Current wetbulbs.

YetAnotherRDUGuy
Little bit of SN mixing with the sleet now, turned into a big mess quick on the roads. Confirmed. Some of the tiniest flakes I've ever seen are mixing in here. (Wake/Durham line)

rawlee
Nice little mini band coming in from SE, interested to see what that holds now with the precip change.
Jet Stream Rider
Interesting about the snow mixing back in. Maybe higher rates in those bands causing that? Are they ice slivers, or full formed flakes?
raysum
In Spartanburg temperature is 26. We have a wetbulb temp of 24 as our humidity is at 75%.... Whenever the precip arrives it will get back quickly
Brick Tamland
Looks like big band near Holly Springs and another one down in Garner still to come this way. Still sleeting like crazy now.
SN_Lover
Hmm..interesting. All in for the French? If convection to the NE of the low fires up, then the low will start pulling towards a apps runner. Would be ideal to have minimal convection right now and have the low as weak as it can be. Even CAE's wetbulbs below freezing.

Is the low that far south of where the NAM had it last run?
Jet Stream Rider
I have light to occasional moderate zr. Some significant accrual in the tops of nearby pines that have me a little concerned. 28 degrees. To my east, Norfolk and Elizabeth City both above freezing now. Jet Stream Rider
Its a very weak low. Center jumps around. Really slp has not established itself yet.
SnowDeac
Apologies if this is a weenie question, but what are the odds (incredibly slim I know) that this thing could still transfer to the coast? The precip is building from Jacksonville to Myrtle from the Atlantic, and has me interested.

Probably wont establish itself in the Atlantic until its well to our north.
