Ginx snewx
A gross run for the north that were still in the game.literally even cancels any snow west of the track. Upstate NY guys just castrated
HIPPYVALLEY
GFS is west runs the low up through CNY. That would make sense based on the Euro and Ukie the past few days. The HV runner idea would have been a more anomalous event.
HIPPYVALLEY
this Still time to get there I think. Hopefully Euro comes in super wound up and west.

CNY-LES FREAK
It's a negative east based +NAO. I can keep going all night. I also do birthday parties. I see no reason why we shouldn't just ignore the GFS right now. I am ignoring it and have been, lol

On track to be lowest snow fall record for many in WNE/ENY. Might be able to throw parts of PA in their too? I'm just less familiar with their plight. CT Valley Snowman
GEM is east of the GFS but still ugly, runs the low from NE PA to ALB. Probably a bit more front end and mucho rain with that track.

ENYsnow
00z Ukmet has the low over northeast NJ at 72 hours.. that would be a lot of rain, especially out this way.

Embrace the novelty of 1-2" of rain w/i 24-36 hours of being below zero.

CoastalWx
Euro not as amped, runs it over CT. The front is out by BGM. It's amped. It only inches east as the low finally develops and makes it "look" east.

Yeah this played out about as expected so far when you have the EURO so steadfast about a low cutting through NYS. It only takes the American models an extra 24 hours to figure it out. codfishsnowman
as it stands now we will not make any kind of futility record, its been awful but we are at just over 15 inches and another inch tomorrow will further keep us from that....least amount in a season for bdl is around a foot i believe....would like to see initial overrunning trend more intense though further nw has a shot still at all time worst if things do not rebound though
CoastalWx
Something to ponder. If the NAM happens and weak wave forms, may try to lock on low level cold longer behind it, before we torch from second low.

CoastalWx
The nAM makes my point. That would hold cold longer, especially nrn CT and more likely, interior MA. Nice little thump prior.
