moneypitmike
I can't remember a winter in which I never had to clear the driveway. I must have had 1 or 2 growing up in New London, CT. This year is rapidly approaching the first of my adult life. Make.....it......stop. 12.9/

ORH_wxman
Nam is weak again It's finally joining reality though....with the sharper trough. It's no longer taking the sfc low south of us.

HIPPYVALLEY
Nam is weak again Yeah, wondering if the Euro caves to the idea of a less wound up Low. All of SNE sees rain due to lack of any meaningful high to the NW but some could have a more prolonged period of frozen and perhaps a bit less of a soaking for ski county. I like the idea of a weaker, flatter solution but potent enough to give some decent front running snows. I just like watching falling snow, even if it washes away. 40/70 Benchmark
I can honestly say that I don't give a rat's weenie what happens with this system. I don't care if its 60* from the first drop to the last, or its 32.000000000000001. I don't care.....just get it over with so we can move onto whiter pastures. HIPPYVALLEY
NAM is a torch. Mid levels and then surface?
ORH_wxman
Mid levels and then surface? Yes...it does give front end snow...but then maybe a brief period of ZR and then rain...doesn't really matter anyway on specifics. The idea though was that it finally decided to track the low up the HV like most other guidance.
RUNNAWAYICEBERG
Yea it's torchy but deff not an amped up strong system verbatim. Unless euro is right, not an impressive system.

RUNNAWAYICEBERG
HV?It does track sfc low up HV before this frame...then it does something wierd and pops new low east of AC. Have no idea what nam is doing tbh.http://www.tropicaltidbits.com/analysis/models/nam/2016021300/nam_mslp_pcpn_frzn_neus_26.png

CoastalWx
I would be surprised if the gfs led the way. However, I also would not be shocked if the euro was too amped. End result, difference between a couple of inches on the front end....vs very little.
40/70 Benchmark
well no - who said 'huge' i'm talking any for cryin' out loud. christ... but, in the end, it was a sardonic jest and not worthy much more Well, who cares if the EURO nails a 2"er...
