This thread is dedicated for the Cliff Jumpers, One's who have risen the white flag in showing there acceptance at plain reality. The point of this thread is too vent. Let out all of your weenie-induced frustration, instead of taking it out on other people. We all have the same passion and love for weather, and though it can be frustrating. We need to learn to respect each other.

You want to talk about a no snow zone. I live in Rockingham and its sad to watch. Oh well. It will probably snow when we do not expect anything and it pops up 2 days in advance. Watching this for a week and watch it bust is painful. I should know better

Well for the good news....our 10yr running average actually went up this season as we dropped 05/06 which was 0" season and we got 1.2". So we got that for momentum for next year. Next year we have to beat 1.6" to improve. #snowynina2017

It's really funny how hard it is to get an inch of snow to fall. One inch of real, genuine snow. Snow that sticks on the ground. Show where you don't have to worry about it being 35 degrees with the ground temps at 45. Snow that falls during the day and piles up on the ground all the way up to one inch high. Snow that falls in the dead of winter, while the sun angle is low. Snow that falls at a rate of more than one flake per square meter. Snow. Pure, cold, daytime, mid-winter snow. It's really quite comical in the end.

It's unbelievable. It seemed like the Piedmont of NC used to get PURE snowstorms all of the time. Never happens anymore.
