usedtobe
Here's another Capital Weather Gang article I wrote on the potential for winter weather Monday into Tuesday. It's another messy look with low pressure over the Great Lakes and a big giant high pressure system moving off the coast. That usually ends up producing more rain than snow. The models predictably differ on the handling of the system with some like the Canadian andd GFS giving more snow than rain and Euro which is mostly rain. It's too early to make a call though I favor the Euro idea more than the GFS though some compromise is certainly possible.. Still the system is worth monitoring as this coming air mass is really cold. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/capital-weather-gang/wp/2016/02/10/after-weekend-cold-snap-another-tricky-winter-storm-possible-monday-tuesday/
ThreeRedheads
Thanks, Wes. This system looked so impressive a week or so ago. Guess we'll wait and see.
