Baroclinic Zone
Nobody would...but it will take a really awful finish to finish under 35" in ORH considering they are at 31.2". Nothing wrong with a 35" season here.
ORH_wxman
Nothing wrong with a 35" season here. Yeah that isn't that far below climo for you...prob closer to 40" average there.
Ginx snewx
This is no 2012 here but Hunchie HV valley it may well be
HoarfrostHubb
That wasn't just at you, Hubbdave is declaring this season worse than 2011-12 because he got 23" in 11-12 and he has 21" this season. That's a little ridiculous, given that March 2012 isn't walking through the door on February 21st, or March 1st, 2016. I actually got 46" in 2011-2012. 24 in October, 22 the rest of the way

HoarfrostHubb
You said without the octobomb. As did I. ? Without the October storms (2 by the way) this is still worse so far. What happens over the next few weeks could change that. It still will be a stretch to overcome the whole season

HoarfrostHubb
October isn't really the season though. It was a freak event outside of winter.I think the official amounts go July 1 to June 30You still need to include it...we get October snows often enough... Maybe 25% of the time measurable...similar to April? I doubt I end up under the 2011/2012 non October total but it could be close.

Maybe not up your way though. I guess you're right it counts.

HoarfrostHubb
ORH average 0.2" in October and 2.8" in April
ORH_wxman
ORH average 0.2" in October and 2.8" in April Longterm numbers are a bit higher ('81-'10 numbers are kind of a disaster anyway with the bad data in late '90s/early '00s)...like 0.6" and 3.9" I think...but yeah, April is def more prone to snow than October.
