HIPPYVALLEY
Man, that's ugly. Not a surprise but it would be nice if we could pull out a decent setup for N VT. It really could not get much worse for ski areas. Vacation week starting with frostbite temperatures followed by torching deluge. Awful.
ORH_wxman
On the plus side, not much rain for ski country.

dryslot
Jeff, how would Far northern Aroostook do in that set up? Terrible on the front end but maybe some backside snows once the cold front sweeps thru, The only caveat is that it track so far west it may limit the damage up there
Bostonseminole
Its ugly. I know you're deemed that bad guy if you talk about it, buts it's ugly. Nothing you can do. this run is a disaster for everyone
40/70 Benchmark
Could this help shake things up like the event a couple of months ago? Maybe pump a ridge in Greenland?
CoastalWx
Well we'll see if it opens the door for the next one down the road in two days.
ORH_wxman
That track is actually better for the ski areas than a HV runner....it keeps them out of the heavy rain.
CT Rain
Wait and see if it verifies. Only 5 days to go. Still room for a correction to save N VT... I think it's time to draw the curtains in our backyard (unless you get excited for a slushy inch or two washing away).
dryslot
We will probably lose the Miller B potential as well at 12z as that was a nice follow up on the 0z run

googmoog
If the 12z suite 5 days away from the event was the final solution this winter, we'd all be in Narnia up here in the Catskill region. I say give it some time before swallowing antifreeze...lots of runs to go. That said, what a suckish solution from all models. Yowza!
Lava Rock
I think i'm about to switch hobbies and take up needle point or go get some ideas off of PinterestLooks to be over before it ever got started. Just got to Sunday river and it looks like mid April. Very little snow on ground. We have more in Raymond. Depressing.

wxeyeNH
Well I'm guessing here as a non met but this track is better for us in C/NNE than a track a bit further east. The further west the storm tracks the less rain for New England. Also it will take longer to scour out the extremely cold air preceding the storm. What pressure does the Euro take the storm too as it moves out of NY state? Could be some real damaging winds if the storms bombs into the 970's or even lower especially for us up here in C/NNE
