sparklecity
I hope to experience that feeling once before I die, been waiting 30 years and no luck yet. Congrats on the surprise snow today. Well, don't feel bad because every major event under performs big time here. Only the novelty ones produce lol. I've prob had more snow from novelty events than actual majors the last few years. Still snowing pretty good, although starting to approach the back end now. Got about an inch on the patio and pushing 2" on the grass. 28.4° right now. sparklecity
You can see where the heavier banding set up nicely across Spartanburg County on the 1 hour totals. Looks like one final push of moderate snow about to move in then it will be over. Now if I could just get a major to over-perform like this......but I'll prob be dead before that happens lol. griteater
That batch in the upstate looks like it's heading up 85 toward CLT. Bring it on! That could be a little nice surprise... WeatherNC
Flakes are just starting here at the office on Arlington. Kind of worried about mixing based on CC, line looks to be from New Bern to Kinston to Goldsboro to Southern Pines at the moment. Not really that banded look south of there and it appears to be slowly inching north.
NCSNOW
Yea need to be along SC/NC border till you hit coastal plain for this one. This will be a big performer Fayyetteville up to Elizabeth City, moreso toward northern coastal plain. Post some pics guys
