WinterWolf
-12 Sunday morning at BDL, breaking the old record of -9. -12 again this morning too! Quite the record breaking blast, and that it came amongst a sea of warmth that this winter has been, is really something.
CT Rain
Maybe snowman21 can figure this out - what is the greatest 2 day temperature swing for the Hartford area and the Bridgeport area with the threaded records? For example, it looks like BDL will go from a low today of -12 to a high tomorrow around 55. I imagine that's about as high as it gets but I can't seem to figure it out. tamarack
On the morning of March 19, 1976 in Ft. Kent, it was -25. The next afternoon temps reached 50, for a 75F leap in 32-33 hr. (On Feb. 2 that same year, the temp dropped from 44 at 1 PM to -6 five hr later, the back side of the storm that drowned downtown BGR.)

CapturedNature
I went from -9 to 51 Jan 16/17 1994 I was looking at my own temperature swings and we've had some good ones going back and forth. January 6-8, 2014 we went from near zero degrees to the 50s and back down again. On 4/27-28/1990 we went from the 90s to near freezing. We can get some pretty crazy swings. Using the new scale, it would be something like -70 to -75F windchill.
