Bobby Posted February 8, 2016 Share Posted February 8, 2016 Although we are all In the general area I have setup a spare Nest cam to stream the snow event for those outside the area or those that are just curious about conditions in Kings Park. It should switch over to IR mode at some point but the combination of stoop lights, street light and reflective snow is fooling the sensor. May have to switch it over manually. Most of the short range models keep it going through much of the day...so even if it is light & preparatory in stretches...it should pile up some. What's more interesting is the minor coastal flooding I noticed along the back bays here in southwestern Nassau county. Several streets under 1-2 ft of water in the worst spots.
