usedtobe
Here's today's tag team article that Angela and I wrote on the Monday night into Tuesday event. The forecast still is a bust waiting to happen. Personally, I'm kind of bearish on the storm. The spacing between it and the exiting southeast storm is shorter than I'd like for having the new low tap Atlantic moisture without the low bombing out. However, enough models have a mesoscale moderate to heavy precip band somewhere in the Mid Atltantic to keep us from dismissing the threat. Temps also are likely to be a problem. Anyway, here is our latest thinking. Jason, Dan, Matt and Ian also waded in with opinions that helped formulate our discussion https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/capital-weather-gang/wp/2016/02/06/early-week-winter-storm-is-highly-uncertain-but-looks-more-nuisance-than-significant/
